Our Guarantee
There has been confusion by some of our customers as to what is covered by the manufacturer’s shingle warranty. We hope the following explanation gives you a better understanding of your guarantee and warranty.
Your roof installation is guaranteed by Dayus for two (2) years from the time of purchase as outlined on the reverse of your contract. The extended shingle warranty is given by the manufacturer of the shingles, similar to that of tires when you purchase a new car. Also, as with tires, your warranty has restrictions and conditions.
Roofs are pro-rated based upon the age of the roof and warranty life. Some of the warranties do not cover the cost of the tear-off, rotted wood, flashing of penetrations and sheet metal work. Along with our guarentee we will supply you with a specific shingle warranty depending on which type of roof you decied upon.
Roofs do require maintenance. Caulking should be checked and troughs should be cleaned annually. General roof maintenance is not covered by your guarantee or the manufacturer’s warranty. At Dayus, we are here to help you. If you require assistance, please give us a call. (252-6581)
